Implementing their newfound knowledge
Through YWL Clubs’ evidence-based curriculum, teens can put into play the leadership skills they gain through LEAD and share messages of empowerment with their peers. The curriculum can be used through school clubs, extracurricular activities, individually, in teams, or as a whole class.

“I would like these young people to pursue their dreams and to not only have takeaways for themselves, but use what they learned today to impact other young ladies here at North High School.”

Applying & sharing their newfound knowledge
LEAD Clubs can be implemented in any high school serving learners in grades 9-12. We encourage students and educators to initiate YWL Clubs in their schools to carry forward and extend the YWL event messages. Our curriculum can be part of your schools’ extracurricular offerings or advisory groups or club options.
YWL Curriculum provides:
- Supplemental learning that builds on our tradition of excellence
- Extended year-long learning experiences
- Dynamic, interactive instructional materials focused on future-ready workforce skills, leadership development and STEM career mentorship opportunities
- Access and inclusion for diverse students to learn from and support one another along their career continuum
As young people develop their leadership skills, it’s important that they apply what they are learning in order to practice and retain their new knowledge. We believe philanthropy is one of the best avenues for them to utilize their new skills. We’ll provide resources for the clubs to understand why it’s so important that we all give back to our communities and how they can do so.
